- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and automated dispensing systems is a plus
- Prepare, verify, and dispense medications for hospital patients according to physician orders and hospital pharmacy protocols
- Review medication orders for accuracy, dosing, interactions, and appropriateness as part of clinical medication management
- Provide drug information, clinical recommendations, and medication education to healthcare providers and nursing staff
- Monitor patient medication therapies, participate in medication reconciliation, and collaborate with medical teams to optimize outcomes
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records, ensure proper documentation, and comply with hospital policies and state and federal regulatory standards
