Available Pharmacist Opportunities:

  • Evenings 12:30PM-9PM; Every 3rd Weekend & Holiday Rotation
  • 50/50 Position: 50% 1st Shift, 50% 2nd Shift - Every 3rd Weekend & Holiday Rotation

The Clinical Pharmacist:

  • Validates accuracy and appropriateness of medication orders.
  • Compounds medications and accurately provides prescribed medications according to professional standards, practices and specific indications or orders.
  • Provides consultative services to internal and external system constituents regarding medications, interactions, and other drug related information.
  • Follows defined medication related protocols, policies and procedures.
  • Documents clinical activities and applicable outcomes.
  • Achieves and maintains satisfactory working relationships with pharmacy leadership, pharmacy staff and other hospital departments, committees and administrators.
  • Places a strong emphasis on patient care with the patient as the highest priority and central focus in all endeavors and undertakings of the individual and the department.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements
  • Doctorate Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Doctorate Degree
Experience
  • Clinical Pharmacist Experience In Healthcare Setting
Certification and Licensure
  • Board eligible for Pennsylvania licensure may be accepted in lieu of actual license; PA Pharmacist License required within 4 months of hire date
  • PA Pharmacist License
