This company is a leading light industrial GC in the Southeast with a rich history of over 40 years. New construction light industrial manufacturing, warehouse, food & beverage is their focus. Medium-sized so they dont over hire and risk their people.
Job Description- Oversee daily on-site construction activities to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Assist in managing project budgets and timelines effectively.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Review blueprints and construction plans to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Track project progress and prepare regular reports for project stakeholders.
- Assist in problem-solving and resolving any project-related challenges.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations and building codes.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Superintendent and/or Field Engineer should have:
- New construction ground up experience in light industrial or commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, blueprints, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
