Our client is seeking a Construction Site Administrative Assistant for an immediate contract role in Freeport, TX. This position requires 3-10 years of experience supporting industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will be local to the area, possess proven multitasking abilities, and offer a background in contract editing or paralegal work to effectively support the site management team.

responsibilities:

  • Project Documentation: Import and manage RFIs and FCNs within the GDMS, ensuring all logs are updated, scanned, and distributed to relevant engineering departments.
  • Timekeeping & Records: Collect and upload weekly team timesheets into the internal system, ensuring all personnel meet reporting deadlines.
  • Administrative Support: Coordinate and schedule project meetings, prepare Minutes of Meeting (MOMs), and assemble technical data books or operating manuals.
  • Site Operations: Manage the procurement of office supplies through the SRM system and provide general administrative assistance to the Site Manager.
  • Contract Oversight: Utilize prior legal or paralegal experience to assist in the handling, reviewing, and editing of site-specific contracts and documentation.

The essential functions of this role include:

  • working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
