RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment.$750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
- 8-week assignment duration
- Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required
- Weekend coverage required
- Patient ratio of 1:5 during days, nights, and weekends (up to 6 patients)
- Float to Medical-Surgical units as needed
- 2 years of nursing experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Alabama nursing license required
- Must have experience in MS/Telemetry, Telemetry, and PCU/Stepdown units
- Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required
- Must be able to start IVs and follow Heparin protocols
- Manage cardiac drips without titration
- Skills include telemetry interpretation, dysrhythmia management, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care
- Experience with oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions required
- Must be proficient with any charting system
- Accepts first-time travelers
- Requested time off must be 7 days maximum
- Non-billable orientation modules averaging 8 hours
