RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment.$750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
- Work night shifts with every other weekend requirement
- Option for 4x12 hour shifts available
- 8-week assignment duration
- Float to like units as needed
- Possible charge nurse responsibilities as needed
- Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
- 30-bed medical surgical unit
- Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
- 30-minute lunch required with no skipped meals policy
- Must adhere to call-in policy
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Level II Trauma experience preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- Required certifications: BLS via AHA and Fit Test
- NIHSS preferred
- Alabama nursing license required
- Skills include: IV starts, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac, blood product administration, colostomy/ileostomy management, feeding tube care, heparin and insulin administration, PCA, peripheral and PICC line management, surgical drains
- Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
- Modules completed during orientation (average 8 hours)
