RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment.$750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
- 8-week assignment duration
- Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required
- Patient ratio of 1:5 during days, 1:6 during nights and weekends
- Float to Medical/Surgical units as needed
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Alabama nursing license
- Must have 2 years of nursing experience
- Required work settings experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, and PCU/Stepdown
- Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required
- Must be able to start IVs and follow Heparin protocols
- Manage cardiac drips without titration
- Skills include telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams
- Blood product administration and central/peripheral line care and management
- Oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Charting system experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
- Modules completed during orientation (non-billable, approximately 8 hours)
